Hey all,
I recently finished this remix for an online friend of mine (you know who you are :)). Because the orignal already had a strong pad lead, I decided to go more for my own style, mixed up with a bit of Gouryella at the end, thanks to that epic-sounding string sequence of the original.

Lemme know what you think

spectacular track! :eyes:
bassline is awesome.
love the choir too..
it sounds a tad muddy when everything plays together though, i think there might be a bit too much reverb on the strings. nothing bad, but imo they could be a bit clearer..
other than that it's perfect.. wonderful production, it's massive!! ;) |

Comments as I listen:
-That synth that busts in right at the start sounds way too 80s for me, hehe.
-The other intro effects are cool, I like that gallopping sound.
-Dope kick; best I've heard you use so far.
-Bass is really nice, could possibly use a little more sub-bass though. Actually scratch that, sounds good.
-Dope percussions and pad. Entire intro is really nice.
-Not a big fan of the bassline note progression, but the melodies sound great over-top of it.
-Nice breakbeat, but maybe bring out the snare in it a bit more.
-Sounds pretty massive after the breakdown, I like it.
This is my favourite of your tracks thus far, good work man. |

Kevin :: thanks mate! Glad I could impress you once :)
You did like the pianos in this one then? I was thinking of scrapping the strings behind the lead, but it resulted in a bit of 'empty space' when I tried...
dj-sean :: I know about that synth in the intro, I've thought about leaving it out near the start. Then, I placed some more reverb and delay on it, so it would sound more atmospheric. Dunno if that worked? Thanks for your input.
dbl :: thanks for your comment, I appreciate it (as always) :)
SoM :: I think it could nice along that awesome original, don't think it's better at all imo - remixes are hardly better or a match for the original :)
dj zero :: I'm glad you like it mate, thx.
ravemonkey :: well, then I must have come a long way for you ;) thanks for having a listen. |

i wouldn't scrap them, i'd just put a bit less reverb on them.. |
