I cant tell you much about the rotary kit since I never had it, but I can tell you the mixer is badass
I had one for about half a year till I sold it to my work - not because I didnt like the mixer, because they offered me a deal I couldnt refuse. (it was a rackmounted djm3000, denon dn-d9000, 2 shure mics, and a furman power console, all nice and neat in a little box :D )
anyway, the mixer is solid. sounds great... the effects are awesome - flanger and filter being my favs..
the fader are top notch, very clean circuitry.. great layout, everything is placed logically. nice gunmetal colour.. solid built.
I recommend this if you plan on mounting the mixer since its a 19". if you dont wanna mount it, you should get it anyway since its pretty much the same mixer as the DJM600 but 19" and a little cheaper
hope that helps |

| The rotaries are an extra on the standard unit, so keep that cost in mind when you price it. Rotary kit recommended price here is AUS$330, not sure what it actually retails for The changeover from faders to rotaries is something you can do yourself without too much trouble. Check out the pioneer forums, they have a video there on how to change it. |
