and again just cos someone is female does not mean to say they know less about trance than someone who is male.
as for ATRC, i love it, great production and vocals but it's going to suffer from it's success on the commerical market because of the elitisim of ppl who frequent boards like this.
because it's got commerical success, and over here in the UK, radio 1 airplay which will cane it over and over again, it's gonna get branded as cheesy.
I for one hope it retains its status as an epic trancer, which very few tracks that hit commerical success do.
Darude - Sandstorm - Loved by TA until it did so well commericaly, now branded by TA as cheesy and horrible.
Delerium - Silence - got huge commercial success and still managed to retain its credibility (thank god :) )
so like i said, i hope ATRC manages to do the same as Delerium :)

| Personally i LOVED ATRC (esp. when I heard it live the first time at Ultra last year)... G&D have quickly become one of my favorite producers, and I think its awesome as hell that dave dresden actually posted in this thread himself (despite some mindless bashing)...Hopefully I'll see him in Miami in March :) |
