| When loading a sample into a channel in FL, and when you adjust the loop to fit in so it loops perfectly, the speed/tempo is wayyyyy to fast, how can i adjust the tempo of the sample itself without lowering the 'Master Tempo' for all channels.... i tryed putting it into piano roll and taking it down a few octaves... but that didnt work either..:conf: |

What I do is change the number of beats per bar until it matches the loop. If it still doesn't match I put the sample into its own pattern, and then add it in with the playlist.
What is the length of your sample, and the master tempo & beats per measure of the song you are making? |

| The master tempo is at 120, the sample I want to look at it's normal loop rate is 5 seconds long..and for the beats per measure, where is that located? |

In the upper left corner of the step sequencer there is a little thing that looks like an led display. There are two dashes in it. Move over it with the mouse cursor, click and hold the left mouse button, then move the mouse up until the measure is as long as you want it.
But if you already have your pattern filled up with steps, this will not automatically fill the bigger pattern with them (try it and you will see what I mean). I am sure there is a way to do this, I will try to find out what it is. |

Thanks szuchy it seems to work pretty good with what you said about extending the beat bar's, although it doesnt seem that it will work perfect all the time, let's try to see waht else we can do.
Anyhow thanks! |
