Try the Red Infader... it's a great mixer!!! around 450$ (US).
If you don't like it then check out the Vestax PMC-270a and the Roland DJ-1000... both are around 350$. |

i just ordered a vestax 275A.
its got an improved fader, and costs like 40$ more.
they say it won't blead for a longer period of time.
It's replacing my djm-300. I'll throw a review up once i get it. |

| I'm very curious how they stack up. I am only familiar with the Pioneer mixers and I want to know how the vestax mixers compare. |

well ill tell you right now,
the headphone monitoring ability of the djm-300 was great.
but the vestax has some nicer things, send/recieve, kill switches, and more imputs. I would get the djm-600 but it is very exp, the only sound effect i like is flanger, and the sample only goes 6 seconds max. for 150$ u can buy yourself a sampler that has 24 seconds, split up into 2 x 2 sec, 2 x 4 sec, and 1 x 12 sec.
the selectable fader curve is great as well. But i'd hate to get accostomed to that and then find myself on some random mixer at a party.
but the way i see it.
DJM-600 = 1200
Vestax 275A = 430
Digital Sampler = 150
1200 - 430 - 150 = 620
that leaves you with 620 to buy insane effector, or whatever else u could want.
As for effector I'm not sure which one to get. I just sold my efx-500 cuz i found the effects to be pretty cheezy. Anyone know a good one? |
