seriously armin s on tiesto in all aspects.. few years back it use to be other way around.. but tiesto has just lost it

his set on nye proved that fact to me.. no structure to his set at all.. and his productions lately.. all i can say is wtf?

no one gets me more excited to go out and see than armin!

I think that's because Armin hasn't changed his style one bit, If Tiesto retained his old style till now like what Armin did then Tiesto would wipe him up.

BUT i enjoy both their stuff, so i'm not complaining...

Armin hands down wins with productions, mixing ability and sexiness ;)

exactly! his productions are so much better and his tunage selection in general is a lot kooler than tiesto. also, on another note he is a lot hotter which counts for something imo!! ha ha!

go armin... luv ya work! :)

thats your opinion. Judging by the reactions of most people on this board tiesto is still very much a crowd pleaser.

I guess some people just dont like his new style, you cant please everyone and i know my musical tastes vary from time to time so its hard for me personally to keep playing the same kind of stuff like Armin does. But thats why its great to have both of them!

I prefer Armin's style. The recent stuff I've heard from him is so dreamy and for me that's what trance is about.

Im really looking forward to seeing armin, but i do hope its not ALL uplifting, cause that will get a bit bleh after a while. Hopefully he will play some energetic stuff and some dreamy uplifting stuff.

I liked tiestos set at sunshine people, but then again, im not a dj, so to me, it was just good tunes on a beautiful evening. I had lots of fun taking the piss out of who was on before Tiga with escee :) You abuse that crossfader boyeeee!

Anyway, back to the topic.... I like them both, I havent seen AVB live yet, so i will tell you what i think after the 25th. But i do think that a no holds barred match in a cage, is an appropriate way to settle this discussion. :)

Armin is going Bald :P

Tiesto is my 2nd favourite dj, but he's still higher than Armin at #3 so I'm gonna have to vote Tiesto:p

Tiesto in terms of production and versatility, but Armin is definitely a better dj and alot more character. Overall, I would have have to say Tiesto for the simple fact that its difficult to put a definition to his sound, where as Armin is more predictable.
