This woman lost her lottery ticket and someone else has shown up to cash it, according to the law its finders keepers since the ticket is like cash on the street. Kind of blows for her though since the numbers that she picked and how she did it using birthdays of family members and the date and place that she purchased it seems credible.
Not political but makes an for an interesting scenario, I hope she gets the benefit of being declared the winner today by the Ohio Lottery Association, or that would really suck for her.

That is assuming she's telling the truth, which she isn't. If you read the police report, her "claim" seems shaky at best. She's got absolutely no evidence to back it up - how gullible does she think the courts are?

Besides, I doubt that the worker who's actually getting the money is really afraid of going to court over it, since he's now got $162 million to pay the legal fees with. :toothless

C'mon ... the guy should take pity on her and buy her a lottery ticket.

the woman who one it legitmately has already shown her proof of receipt and the place where she bought the ticket.... so that means she is the real winner

Yeah her story now looks kind of phony as things develop, amazing what people will do for cash, have the media taking pics of you all teary eyed and professing your misfortune. If I was lying why the heck would I want the cameras showing me all over America, guess she intended to stretch this thing out as long as possible.

I heard that the lady who really won spoke with an attorney and an accountant prior to redeeming her ticket, and that she waited so long to step forward because of all of the noise the phony ticket lady was making. I figure if that lady can't admit her lie at this point she'll have no other option but to sue and make up some unbelievable story to keep us entertained for a week. In the end she'll probably get $2 million from the winner to shut up and go away, as well as a few talk show interviews, and a book deal. Come to think of it, it's far too easy to become a millionaire overnight in this country!:toothless

Holy crap! Watch this video news link on the story(Must have real player)--especially the second part with the loser standing her ground. I'm telling you she's gonna get $5 million bucks out of this scam one way or another. Her lawyer will probably get half of that too. What a bunch of crooks.

That woman is truly full of the more I see this unfold, she truly is convinced that it is her ticket, if I played a jackpot I would make damn sure from now on that I keep my ticket in a secure spot on me or off me. It was funny to watch all the people scratching the snow looking for the ticket once she claimed she lost it in the area. Can just see all those weasel lawyers lining up to move in for their cut from a court case. :stongue:

It only gets more interesting. Won't be long till this woman gets $10,000 to go on Springer.

The accuser is slowly being revealed as a total degenerate. It's just a good thing that the woman who won today is black, or Ohio would have another wonderful race riot.
