all the time it is people whining about mods when they close threads or ban some people. and everytime that threads is closed down, TA WILL DIE OUT if this continue, you shold listen to your members :)
so either let those be open and have a damn discussion or have a special forum for that discussions. mods do wrong sometimes, realize.

I think it's important to put yourself in the both the mod's & banned user's shoes. Unjust bannings can occur, sometimes (imo) decisions do need a review.
I think it's important to have an open process regarding banning, for instance, if vivid was banned because he likened redeye to a cake (or something along those lines), then i think that needs to be looked at. |

somehow I think this thread will be closed.
but I don't really think it is up to us the members, they (the mods) run the place and obviously since we have so many members they must be doing something right.
So I say forget it and rock on mods. |

I agree I think if banning reason was like posted in a special thread not as many of these threads would be created asking why. Maybe everone should have a credit report, like when a mod has a problem it goes on ur history. Or maybe have a system like ebay where you and mods leave positive/negative comments and the user can has a line for rebutle. So if someone gets a lot of negative feed back then a ban won't be questioned. It's probably to involved but i think a more transparent system should be implemented. |

That's lame as hell, lol. People should be banned for continued abuse, not just making a joke at a mods expense. I don't think anyone ever complained about Vivid, but it's not that I'll even notice he's gone in a week so it really makes no difference. But it's unfair to him if he was banned just for that whole cake thing. |

| I notice the same thread starter as usual complaining. That's your opinion but the review system exists and has worked well imo. Vividboy was banned for his behavior, the series of things that kept happening over and over and he was warned by many mods to shape up. Mods do not enjoy banning or suspending anyone but normally you get warned about your behavior and if that continues, what decision do we really have left other than to send a message that the behavior is wrong and needs to change and that's a suspension if you don't listen to the warnings and you keep doing dumbass things. This probably applies to 3-5% of ta because most follow the rules. Got a complaint with TA, address a pm to Swamper because it runs the site. |

Are you completely clueless? or do you just ignore the obvious?
Take a good look at the moderators of this forum, do you see my name anywhere there? Take a look at the forum leaders and find the forums that I moderate and you will realize that chill out forum is not moderated by me. I help keep the order in here just like every mod does from time to time but I cannot close your lame complaints threads. Why keep complaining about useless ? Go somewhere else if you don't like TA. The mods have a safety system in place already and if you have any questions about ta, address them to Swamper. |

sorry my misstake, wasn't complayning about you.... i actually think you are one of the better mods :)

| The mods try to be fair and unbiased as much as possible. I hate to suspend people and most mods do (dunno about all of them....but I shall use most for now). I've been here almost 3 yrs, about the same time that some mods have been here. It's never died, it's kept growing and growing and growing. I understand the purpose behind your thread here, all appeals are addressed to the only person who can unsuspend or ban which is Swamper who owns this site. Yes, some here don't agree with each and every suspension but a suspension is usually the last step in the entire process. Seems no matter what decision is made, someone is unhappy with a mod for something. You live with that and just move on. As I stated before, the safety net exists (is it a perfect system? NO but is anything perfect? NO). Funny how on this board that moderators are hated by the same people no matter what we do, damned if you do, damned if you don't. |
