hahaha well yeah but thats mainly coz were designers...therefore everything we own, touch, interact with, taste, smell, hear and buy must be visually porn!:P

Anyways you know how bad me and Tim are when it comes to stuff like this:)

only 10gb for £175, 20gb £231, but you get the recording facility which would be useful for tune in clubs

Now that is not porn, value for cash yes but looks nil.
IMO:)

I wouldn't convert any of the US mini iPod prices to english and think thats wot there gonna sell for here if i was u. Apparently us uk'ers are gettin' rectally raided when it comes to the price of Apple products compared to the yanks:

The creative stable of products are ghastly, they're slow as fk unless you're fortunate enuff to be USB2'd up, as i don't think they have firewire ports and the interfaces suck baby rhinocerous's.

The Archos AV340 is actually pretty nice as a portable dvd, we had one in the office for a month or so and the playback quality is really good, but i wouldn't want to use it as a replacement for my iPod, its like a brick. It is smaller than that ing obscene creative thing with blue battery covers on the ends tho.

The guy sat next to me on the train the other day was listening to his AV340 but i could tell he wanted to swap me tho, and the interface on that thing is utter cowdung, three little ghy0r buttons, it takes an age to do anything, and the ipod is still the only portable u can navigate and control with one hand, if that's important to you.

Its so cool infact that i can navigate and turn the vol up and down when its in my pocket and my hand isn't, coz the controls are heat sensitive like a laptop pad, altho people look at me funny sometimes coz it looks like i'm stroking my front area...

This:

http://www.ipodsdirtysecret.com/

It is very true, the magazine I work for did an article on the downfalls of the iPod and there were lots of people who foned in complaining about the batteries and their lack of warranty amongst other things. A few people I work with have had problems with them as well and have all reverted to the NetMD with its superior battery life.
magnasoma
aye but its not true you can't take em apart, wired or someone did an article on how to take them apart and put in replacement batteries from some third party reseller.

as long as it works for longer than my first crappy solid state mp3 player, with very hard to achieve (at the time) OEM 64Mb mmc cards cost me not far off double wot my iPod cost, i'll be happy.
