Codec Needed

| I need a codec so that I can play .mpeg files in Windows Media Player. When I try to play them I get a popup that sais "this pin cannot use the supplified media type". Annd all I hear is music playing until I close the popup, so any-1 know if I might need a codec to fix this problem? Thanks |

| i take it u have tryed other players, i thought .mpeg would play in real player, or real jukebox, but not sure, could give it a try |

FoX!!!!! Whats up?? How ya been? Anywayz, I am about to format my c: drive again hehe, dont know why but my Windows media player wont play any mpg files except may-b 2 or 3. Dont know why, a codec is the last resort. |

that is a codec u might not have
check here:
control panel
multimedia
devices tab
video compression codecs
check there to see if u have MPEG-4 Video codec |

| yep, it sais Mpeg - 4 High Speed Compressor, is that the 1? There is also a nAVI Vx3 Mpeg - 4 Codec. What do I need to do? |
