Hey Uk mates :)
i'm requesting your help; one of my friends is gonna be in England for the next 5 months, and he's willing to get an internet connection there.
He'll bring his comp there, and he's looking for an interesting 56K connection. What are the most interesting offers there ?

Ahoy hoy! if you be needin 56K. Freeserve have got an offer on for any time internet for £7.49 a month unlimited access for 3 months, then £14.99 after that.
But he'll have to be here by the end of january as it ends on the 31st!

| UK2 have a free modem dialup with no passwords or usernames etc, i think you'll need to visit UK2.net and its got something to do with 'dial' but i used to use it in the days before broadband. |

| if he is going to be staying a while and having a landline telephone, then get on ntl. if you spend £20 on phone calls per month u get the net for nothing! |

| Watch out for some phone companies, they will have yearly contracts, and will charge you an arm and a leg to get out of it. |

nah he'll be there only for about 4 months, so we're looking for something with no long contract.
Thanks for your help :), i'll check the links. Freeserve may suit, with their "no ties pay as you go" or "any time" accesses. |
