CD compilation help!

Hey TA's I really need some help and suggestions! I got an offer from some people I know, they want me to make Trance CDs for them and they would pay me for each CD. Just get some good songs, burn em, and that's it. But of course, I need to make the CDs look nice, but all I ever did was get a marker and write a quick "Trance CD #4" etc, or whatever on it, so I'm a rookie making CDs otherwise.
Now getting to the point, I needed some help/advice on how to make nice labels for CDs, are there programs I can download/buy that can make nice labels? One more thing, I hear talk about mixing programs to mix one song into the other for computers, what are they called Reason/Traktor? Well anyways, I just needed suggestions on a simple program to mix the songs. Damn seems like I'm lazy to look all this up myself, but I figured you guys would give me the best info!
If anyone can help, thanks you!

Thanks so much bro!!! You just educated me! That's definitely the first place I'll look, thanks man.
By the way, good luck with those "love on first sight" deals, on some you get lucky, on others you don't, but never give up, that's the key!

k, for making cool labels for cds, i use "SureThing Cd Labeller", cost me aboput 20 bucks for the program and it came with like 200 labels and a stamper(thing to put labels on the cd straight).
it comes with 1000's of pictues on a disk, plus you can put all different formats of pictures of whatever you find on the web. plus cool text effects, etc.
for burnig cds, i use nero burn, you can crossfade tracks, take out the 2 second gap, equalize tracks, normalize(make all same volume), get rid of crackles and live noise , fade in fade out. loads of options. i think i still have a copy of the program with a crack for it. if i can find it your welcome to it:D |

Hey man I would appreciate that SO much! Yea I just want a program that can help me make mixed Trance CDs, basically just mix one track into the next, so if you let it play, it sounds like one long track without any breaks. But of course it would be cool to have tracks separated (for a cd player to read individual tracks). If you do find it, you can email me at [email protected] or just pm me here in Tranceaddict!! Thanks either way InsomnEac!

I've tried MixMeister but the problem is that I can't get the tracks to mix into each other well, the beat is always off on one of them and it just sounds horrible. You can't crossfade easily either. Is there any way to get around this? I tried matching the BPMs of both tracks to no avail...
I love AtomixMP3 since it automatically matches the beats of each track for you, however for some reason, you can't record the MP3 to CD and you need to convert it to WAV, which sucks a bit.
Any thoughts are welcome.
