Certain Way You Build Your Track/Song

Just curious, if you all have a certain way you start a new track/song. Some start with intro, and work there way Left - > Right. or maybe build the Climax first, and work outwards. Or just what ever is feelin at the time..

I thought about building the climax, and working backwards. Was just curious, how u peeps did it.

Just want some idea's, to try out

i usually start with the lead... add a kick/bass.. then percussions... get it too sound nice

then i make the break... to get a feeling of how i want it..

then i mostly just take it all away and start at the intro and build the way to the outro... adding more percussions and such on the way and some FX..

when that's done i mostly add some more FX.. and then it's like finished

Cool, D, i might try that method.

I know it's all preference, but when you are new at doing it, it's nice to have a template of some sort, or reference.

First the lead. Then the basses and supporting synths/pads separately and see if they fit.

Then I start from the breakdown and work my way from there. After I've done the breakdown and build I go to the outro after which I do the intro.
Then I put all the fx on top as the very last thing.

If making remix then first thing is vocals syncing with beat then everything else ...

Original production - everything starts with lead synth ... I try to make 9 bar complete "chorus" part with everything, then few new ideas then breaks and effects. Intros, outros are last things.

By the way If I'm making extended version and original verison or dub version then I just build it on same open project file (save space)! Few bars space and next version starts! Hope you understand sry for bad english :D
