| I was just thinking about posting the same topic for a poll. I strongly believe Pete should be allowed in the Hall Of Fame. I also cant say i'd agree with him being accosiated with baseball ever again (like coaching). But i'd have to be in a position to review all the facts. But anyways Pete deserves the HOF more than any other player voted in the last 10 years. His contributions to the game during his career should not be over looked. He always gave the game 110%. Pete was Charlie Hustle & its a well deserved name for him. He didnt even have any outstanding baseball skills compared to AROD, Bonds or Pudge. And also the players now are all juicing thier bodys & will all reach the HOF. Pete Rose just gave the game 110% & was consistent through his career to rack up the Hits record. He always ran every hit out like it was his last. No player now can even come close to his career hits & unlike the homerun record, I dont think Petes Record will be threatened for a while. I think Pete deserves the HOF more than any1 else. I hope the commisioner loses his grudges towards Pete & lets him in the HOF. |
