Heard people about the Gemini CDJ-20 being good value for money..
I have no experience with it myself though.. |

^^^ yes, ive heard good things about those, although some people have claimed their units have come with fatory defect, and Gemni has been a pain to deal with.
also, the American Audio CDS-1 units, have a friend who just bought a pair and is quite happy with them, havent used them myself, but i will, will type up a review once i do... |

Pioneer CDJ700s & 100s going for dirt cheap. |

I'd go for a pair of CDJ-800's. I paid almost 4000 SEK's more for my CDJ-500S' just two years ago and the two models aren't even compareable today.
I don't know if the CDJ-100's are still manufactured, but they should do just fine. The price for them is somewhere around 7-8000 SEK/pair.
I wouldn't go for any Gemini's though, or any other manufacturer for that matter. |

yes, Pioneer still makes the CDJ-100, but in its newer version, the CDJ-100S. minor changes in the design and some functions i think.
but i dont think they go for "dirt cheap". they are good though. if i got my choice itd be 800's or 1000Mk2's. but those are surely NOT dirt cheap. |

The s stands for silver I believe. As the ones without them were black..

^^^ are you sure? if i recall correctly, all CDJ-100 units, both old
and new are silver, as are the CDJ-800's. the only black one (currently
manufactured) in the single CD player range is the big boy, the CDJ-1000/1000Mk2.
hrm... i cant seem to find any pictures of cdj-100. maybe theyve always
had the S and i hadnt noticed? :conf: :conf:
but im almost certain ive seen CDJ-100 that looked slightly different
than these... |

I've actually never heard of any CDJ-100's without the "S"...if they were manufactured, that must have been a long time ago, at least 4-5 years ago... |
