I find that buying something as simple as a stuffed animal/toy (ie. anything from the Disney store) works better. It gets the caring feeling across and also will make her think of you when she sees it. |
Damn right, Ben! I'd definitely pick a stuffed animal over flowers or chocolate. It lasts longer and surely is much cuter. ;) |

Bah, I keep hearing how funny this guy is, but I'm never around to see his show. :( Perhaps I'll check out that movie. |

I don't know if it's available at Blockbuster but you can call and ask. I would suggest to look for it on the net, seems to be copies floating around. |

personally i would like to get a 6 pack over flowers,, but im not every girl,,, anyway the thing about flowers,, its a nice gesture and shows courtesy... most girls like it because its thoughtfull , you went out of your way to get get them,,, its nice,, yes they are going to throw them out when they go bad,, but its the thought that counts,, plus if the date sucks and she hates your guts there wont be much of a loss on either side cause flowers are cheap and if she doesnt want to remember you then she wont,, buying flowers wont burn a hole in your pocket either. plus getting flowers is better than getting nothing. if a guy came on a first date with something too extravagant then it might freak a girl out, or make them feel obligated to return the favour... (im not talking about sex)
anyway flowers and alcohol seem pretty good to me anyway.... |

I don't care for flowers or chocolate either. Best gifts I have received from a guy were homemade. Anyone can go out and buy flowers. If it is the thought that is supposed to count...put some thought into it. I've always tried to do the same for my fella. But if you don't have the time, I'm with lipstick! Nothing says "I think your special" like a 26er of Crown Royal. |

what the
why do they need flowers? honestly whoever thought of it is a genius from a business point of view.
what message are guys really sendign to girls by sending flowers??
these buds are for you, my darling, sprouting like our love... then they wither away and DIE... like our love
waste of money
and why dont guys get flowers??? i mean we probably wouldnt want them, but still girls get presents & flowers for most occasions, it's like the occasion is not complete without flowers???
girls for every time a guy give you a flower, you should give him blank CD-R's or something he can use dammit...
flowers.. i hate em |
Wow!!! Ok buddy back up a minute... Lets set some things straight. Men buy women flowers most time without requests, which means its something men think is acceptable, and trust me a woman would rather get something she could use than something that just takes up space... Besides everyone is different, I've never had flower(s) bought for me, not even on special occasions. My personal opinion is that flowers should be reserved for married people, and couples who are seriously in love with each other, and just wanted to remind the other of that... Flowers are a man excuse for not knowing what to get!
As for buying the guys presents, would you like to talk to my man about that, because I guarantee you he is overly satisifed with the gifts I give him, and for no reason at all. And my gifts are not something generic like cd-r's, or tim hortons gc's, there things he either needed, or wanted, or just had a general interest. |
