grounding your mixer?

I was wondering how to ground my mixer
I got a numark ttx-1 and it doesnt need
grouding but when i turn on my mixer theres
alot of hum when at high volume.so im wondering
how to ground it hopefully that will solve the problem.
or maybe its my strereo receiver.
I got the shredder scratch mixer from american dj.

you need to make sure the area around your mixer is clear, and that the mixer + decks are not physically touching, a 1inch or 2-3cm gap betweeen every piece of eqpt. is fine. also make sure that the decks are not in direct line with the speakers or are touching. i have sometimes lent vinyl covers against speakers which touch the back of the deck and that can give feedback too. ensure that the ground cables from your decks are tightly in the earths on the mixer.

my tt's dont have any ground cables
so what else can i do?

what kind of tt's have you got?

most tt's have a red + white dual phono cable + a ground cable :|

locate anywayz

almost all decent turntables have ground cables . . . I have TT200s which are a step under the TTx1s and they have em . . . are you completely sure?
