there is a cool story behind it:

Basically when we were going to start the video a big hurricane hit out town. As a result, we had no electricity for a whole week. Our food went bad in the fridge, I couldn't post on TA, big trees blocked all the roads. It was a mess. Then I realized how much I relied on electronic equipment.

I had a radio with some batteries but then they died too and all the stores were closed. It sucked. Also, I had no computer, I couldn't spin, all the clubs were closed,...etc.

It was clear that everything I was about was related to electronics and seems like "mother nature" just had her own agenda. The concept behind the video is that nature or "The earth" reject electronics and cause them to malfunction. After all computers aren't supposed to make mistakes.

Ton T.B. just imagined a robot having like a seisure or something and his circuitry got corrupted. I wanted to create a cause and effect type of video. Kind of like an unseen force in "the earth" that affect both humans and electronics. It's kind of a message to people who have had problems with eletronic malfunctions. We all experience it and even though we can fix most of them we aren't quite sure of the real cause. In this video I wanted to paint a picture of that unseen force that causes all our problems.

Haha great video. I can really see the story showing through in the video. Thanks for sharing the backstory behind the song too! That was a lot of footage you dug up of um, well, electronics... malfunctioning heheh. I liked the rockets gone haywire. I also liked how you overlayed the puzzle piece shaped video. Did you use Adobe Premiere? Just wondering.

Anyways, keep up the good work!

We used Adobe After Effects for much of the video and effects.

Also, Final Cut Pro.

It was going pretty slow until we rented a G5 that made it fly like spaceship.

I'm glad you liked it. Thanks man.
