Technically, it's an underground pirate station, but I'm making all efforts to ensure that I'm staying legal by using pro equipment and monitoring my broadcasts. If the feds didn't make it such a big deal of getting licensed, I would do it. Unfortunately, I've gotten laughed in my face by the guy at Industry Canada and I came short of kicking him in the mouth.
Anyways, whether you've heard it or not, opinions, suggestions, and questions are welcome. The website is not the greatest but that's all I can do for now. www.energy108.tk ...it's called Energy 108. The logo isn't the most creative but then again, neither am I and nobody has given me any great suggestions or themes for the site. |

| If you want the right people to see this, put it in the Western Canada forum. I tried tuning in yesterday but I didn't get anything. What kind of range can you broadcast? I'm in the NE end of the city. Can you reach me up there? |

Hey man, so YOU'RE running this station. I've tuned in a couple times but have since forgotten about it since around mid-December.
I just tried tuning in and am able to faintly get it on my clock radio. Good luck with everything.
P.S. I'm studying communication system design this semester so maybe I can learn something useful. |

hmmm yeah I didn't see a Western Canada forum otherwise I would. I'll look and post again, thanks.
The tower is up in the NW, south of Superstore on 137 Ave ...it really depends on your location, the weather, and your receiver. I can usually pick it up in Millwoods on my Tercel, but I know a girl who can't get it at Northgate and she also has a Tercel (different year tho, but you get the idea)...
The transmitter is getting an upgrade sometime soon but no set date as of yet. I'd appreciate help but this is a no pay job, well, negative pay if anything :crazy: hehe... |
