Hahahaha,
this guy is classic. I heard he hates cigarette smoke, camaras, glowsticks/lightshows, cell phones, and people conversing while spinning.
His idea of a good club night, simply dance, go home and leave your money at the front.
BOO! |
In that case, he can take his music and his attitude and shove them where the sun doesn't shine...
otherwise, he's more than welcome here in T.O. |

| i would love to see danny. he may be a bit particular but i've heard that his sets make up for it. If I was playing for 20 hours (like he did at stereo)little things might annoy me as well. even tho i've never been to boa, it sounds like a venue that would be more to his liking (from everything I know about him). |

I highly doubt that he has committed to playing in Toronto at such a new club.

Maybe Sander told him how kick ass of a club it is....... |

how can anyone expect to be able to control dialogue across thousands of messageboards worldwide?? esp. on websites/boards that might not have a moderator. I dunno i juss think it's a bit unreasonable to ask ..
anyways, Graham if you must, you can close ur own thread instead of deleting it using the thread options on the bottom left of ur screen.

i know man, its pretty lame... the thing is if tranceaddict knows about DT in TO, it means that some other boards knows about it too, he might hear about it or some ass master goes to his board and ask him to confirm... hahah he's a truly drama queen |

actually by doing this, you guys have maybe lost him... this guy hates it when people confirm his name at someplace before HE does so...
he cancelled Aria once because of that....
but I can tell you something, 17th of April sounds reasonable ;) ;) ;) |
That was slightly different - the rumors were substatiated from some people who were definitely "in the know." |

Next to Lee Burridge, Danny is the nicest and most down-to-earth dj in the world. Before he spins at Arc, he is always hanging out with the people on the floor.
If Boa allows him to spin for 12 hours like he always wants to, then I guarantee you he will be here. You'll probably never see him spin at the Guvernment cause he doesn't like the venue and the crowd is less to his liking (like Sound Factory in New York). This is straight from his mouth before he took the decks at one of his Be Yourself shows at Arc last winter. Danny does hate glowsticks, but as to him hating the rest of the things previously listed, I have never heard of this.
As for not being in TO for a long time, he spins almost every Friday at Arc in New York, and he is a hot commodity for Saturday shows. It could also have to do with TO not having a venue that can truly house the legend.
Although I haven't been there, I think Boa can change this.

He certainly enjoyed his set on the closing night. Will never forget the look on the crowds face when management stopped the music to tell us that he was held up at the border and wouldn't be arriving until 4....but still promised to play a 12 hour set. What a party that was!!!
Will be in for this party if he comes back into town. |
