live broadcasting (how to)

well, 2 things.
first off, i finally got the mic input to work on my laptop (what i always use) so i took a 3.5mm -> RCA connector and used the right booth output of my mixer (the mic input is only in mono, so i had to pick only one)

secondly, how can i broadcast this live? (only using a 56k) note that becasue its a laptop, upgrading the soundcard might get really tricky (if its even possible) also, how shall i deal with the ghetto-ness of the input i have to use?

edit: ok... scratch that i asked "how to"... ive looked into it, and found that shoutcast seems to be a good way to go. are there any other alternatives to shoutcast? also, if i use shoutcast, id need a server to use...anyplace/anyone i can borrow bandwidth from time to time? finally, theres still the problem of the ghetto-fied input i have...

when my radio broadcasts via internet were just starting out, we used www.live365.com for our shoutcasts, it ain't so bad at all and it's free.
