View this Thread in Original format vswede okay i got a mixer but i dont have my decks yet (soon i hope....) im tryin to do some beat matching but instead of holding the record i just pause and play pause and play and it works i think but usuualy if i get the beats to hit at the same time in a matter of seconds it will change i guess this is becuase of the differnet BPM. is the pitch on the decks that fixes this? like it speeds song #1 up so it has the same beat as song #2? how would i do this without the decks? im currently using traktor dj studio when im mixing music where chanel 1 is a pc and channel 2 is also a pc but what if channel 1 would be my mp3 player and channel 2 my cd player? thank you TLAM_Alpha Yeah you need to mess with the pitch. You also need to go here Recess to get to know a lot more about mixing.
