this isn't another dumb thread asking where winamp 4 went, don't worry :p
k so i was about to do some homework and i got a new CD (Ninjatune - the shadow years.....very very dope) and i was gonna turn on fullscreen visualizations while i did it for some mood or w/e
so i start the visualization in a window, and before i hit go to full screen, i noticed something like 'desktop mode', so i tried it
didn't notice anything
then i minimized everything....my background had become winamp's milkdrop plugin
and it wasn't even slowing down my computer
this is absolutely the coolest thing ever
so instead of having a still trippy image, my background right now is an absolute tripfest, even with windows over it
omg its cool
winamp 5 is teh rox:D
edit: doesn't even mess up icons, its behind everything

| You can do that with Winamp 2.x afaik. |

| Say what again, that sounds interesting, although I think that woulnd't work in my win98 u got win xp right? |

i have winamp 5 and windows ME, not XP
k...i had milkdrop set as the visualization plugin, it came with winamp 5
and i started it, and it was all in a window and everything
then right click on the window, and one of the things is 'desktop mode'
click and enjoy :) |

i must be stupid or something but i can't find desktop mode...all i got under options is "Full Screen", "AVS Editor", "Docks in AVS Editor" and "Winamp 5 Picks" am i missing something or am i just doing something wrong? |
