although most of you were content with my last set ( :o ), I wasnt :)
so I quickly threw a new playlist together and conjured up this badboy - less than 2 weeks after 12-30-03.
I still havent picked up my new mixer, however I didnt record this one on my crappy mixer from 12-30. I borrowed a Pioneer DJM3000 from my work :love: so the sound quality is very nice
as far as style and track selection goes, the mix starts off with some deep dark breaky trance, then goes regular trance, then changes into tribal, then kinda mellows out in the end - quite an array of styles as you'll notice
as far as mixing goes, I'de say this is my most skillful set yet. there are no obvious mixtakes/trainwrecks, and all the mixes last long and change smoothly, there are even some 2-3 minute long mixes.
I decided to throw in the G&D remix of Britney - Me Against the Music... cause it was so damn good and mixes great with the Sting track, so... Flame suit on! :o

CUEFILE FOR BURNING

For those that dont know, the cue file is used for burning so that it breaks the set up into the different tracks it consists of. If you burn the set using the cue file, the set will be broken up seamlessly, for easy searching. Aswell, if you have a text-supporting CD player, the track names will be listed when you're listening. To burn using the cue, download the cue to the same folder as the Mp3. Go to www.goldenhawk.com and download CDRwin. Open the cue (or cuesheet) in CDRWIN and burn.

Mate, I really love your sets. This one is just as amazing as the others...if not more! Thanks so much for sharing them with us. I got all the five sets you have released so far here at tranceaddict and I just keep on listening to them over and over again.

Quite an impressive set!! Great mixing and superb tracklist!! The only thing that caught my attention was the first transition tho. That was some skill gettin the two tunes to stay together but the transition didn't seem too smooth cuz it just seemed to drag. Other than that great mix!!! check out my mix and gimme a review too
Quick question: What soundcard are you recording too and what kinda carts are you using?
I'm usin stanton 500 al2's with a soundblaster live and the resulting soundquality was horrible. Luckily, Izotope Ozone fixed that. :) |

I'm using Stanton 680-II carts.. their not too shabby, although Im looking into some higher end ones
I have an audigy 2 sound card (not a platinum) so theres no fancy inputs... just 3.5mm line in jack, which is what I use. (dual RCA to single 3.5mm)
Im thinking about buying some monster cable to improve sound quality
as for that first mix... yeah, it was tough, both those tracks have complex and confusing beats, but I think the mix wasnt too bad, and the trafik track is sooo nice
my 2 fav mixes in the set are Sting into Britney and valentino into nalin & kane |

Hi,
i wanted to burn the Jordan A - Live @ Home (12-30-03) on CD so that i can listen to it in my car. But i lost the cue and the download doesn't work anymore. Can somebody give it to me?
