im well anoyed at peoples closed minds!!!
upon telling a random girl that i love dance music she promptly said "you dont dress like it" so asked what someone "into dance music" wears and aparently this i what we sould all be wearing!
smart designer shirt (preferably ben sherman)
smart (but not overly dressy) trousers (must also be designer!)
and a nice pair of laced shoes also designer and must be laced
we also must have that jelled spiky hair like david beckham had!
so just coz i wear more skaterish clothes i am no longer aloud to like dance music......aparently! |

Man that must have been some thick as pig girl you were having that conversation with, you've just described a f****ng football 'casual' (aggressive British soccer thug for all you Yanks), not a tranceaddict :whip:
And besides, anybody in Aberdeen in January who is wearing anything except thermal undies and Eskimo survival suits, isn't going to last very long :p |

wowowow, i thought i was able to wear what i wanted, feel more relaxed, I guess i cant like dance anymore. Lol, that girl must have been fun to talk to. oh well i guess that is just another day of are lives that we "encounter" a close minded person.
wait, does this count :: I wear b.republic shirts, shorts or jeans, and some cortez's. DO I FIT INTO THE STEREOTYPE?
P.S. i live in "socalIFORNIA", so its pretty warm, atleast for me. |

| Usually the people that like (not cheesey) dance music where I live tend to be very fashionable whereas most people just wear scally clothes |

| I know Dukes he's a scaffy no wonder she said that. Hehehe only joking mate. I just wear what I need to get in the clubs I like. Not to say I'm a mink or anything. In fact here it's mostly neds (Non Educated Delinquents, i.e. arseholes) that wear "the uniform". As for the uniform being fashonable..... "Ben Sherman"? Nothing offence to ben sherman wearers but I personally don't like wearing the same as everyone else. |

| people should be allowed to wear whatever they want. over here in the US, music and fashion have seem to become the same exact thing. in pop culture. |

hmm i wear those kinda clothes i guess not exactly into that description but thats not because of what i listen to that how i was brought up.. that girl seems kinda wacked.
a question i was wondering about while reading this post, if u go around wearing say Dickies pants and Wu Wear shirts u give off the impressiont that you listen to hiphop am i wrong? so i guess music has its style trends.. |

hmmmm...thats interesting...although probably not completely true...
here in america the tend is the complete opposite...whenever i go out...everyone is dressed like ...i think that a big part of the dance loving population in the united states are rockers turned hard techno heads...i don't care though as long as i look good hehehe..
no offense to any americans out there...if you happen to be of named kind... |
