Difference in the Specs of Technics?

So I am close to selling my Numark's and am looking to buy some Technics today or tomorrow. I have looked at various DJ equipment sites regarding the difference between the current models of Technics. I seem to get little info or different info from site to site.
Anyone can simply tell me the difference in the current models? Even which models are the most current?
I would like to blue LED and also to be able to adjust the pitch more then 8%. Do I need the Grandmaster 1200s for this? |

To be able to pitch more than 8% you need the MK5s of some variation. The others don't do it. MK2s and MK3s only give you the +/- 8% range.
A blue LED is also a home customisation but I wouldn't recomed that you do it unless you really know what you are doing. The kits are sold on most of the DJ sites.
Cheers

the mk5,m3d, and mk2 all seem to be the same machine except for the on/off and a little more claimed torque? am i missing something? |

| do the mk5s have pitch reset? some people say yes, some no. |

| Yes the MK5's do have pitch reset just like the M3D's |
|
|
| failsafe |
| even with the 1200mkIIs you can adjust the pitch control range. If you pop the platter off there is a little screw that you can move to increase/decrease pitch sensitivity. It's just like the platter brake screw. |
