Who would've thunk it? As an Angels fan, I never expected this. But now that Vlad is with the Angels, I think the Angels are a very very strong contender for the World Series. That batting lineup is devastating with Guerrero, Anderson, Glaus and Salmon in the middle of it. Combined with a revamped starting rotation and one of the best bullpens in all the majors, the Angels can challenge the Yanks on paper.
The future looks bright for the Angels as well. They were recently voted minor league farm system of the year by USA Today as they have 5 stud prospects that are 1-2 years away from breaking into the majors. |

| i couldnt believe it when i heard about this i was like wtf happened. i thought the orioles were gonna get him but i guess not the angels have a great lineup now vlad, anderson and glaus. thier probable 3,4,5 hitters. WHOA!! |

| Yep they're definitely going to be strong contendors in the AL West this upcoming season. And don't forget about Jose Guillen, that guy is a young stud imo. |
