Want to go to WMC, but short on $$$$

I really want to go this year!! I was going to go last year and participate in the Dj mix off, but was never able to get the $$$.
Anyway, anybody got any ideas/suggestions.
I know a bunch of people are going from Atlanta and I don't know if anyone is caravaning or renting a van to save gas money and money on hotels, but I'm down for whatever.
I just want to go. |

well, here's what I know so far...
people for sure driving down:
me, emil, scott, leeann, and jack... both emil and jack have offered to drive, and could probably each fit 4 including themselves comfortably for the ride down.
a few other people have expressed interest, but nothing seems that concrete yet. hopefully we'll be able to work something out, where everyone that wants to go can go :) don't be too worried about it, we'll try to line something up.
as for hotels, i'm not really sure what's going on yet. we've talked about renting a condo/apartment or something, but again, that's up in the air, and may cost a fair amount of money...

Well, I guess we do have a little time before everything would need to be set in stone.
I know I won't have a ton of money to take with me, so if I can ride along and put in my share of gas and the hotel or whatever, then I might actually be able to go.
I guess we'll see what pans out over the next month or so.
What do you think about renting a van??? We could get twice the people in 1 vehicle. I guess it just depends on what the van would cost.
Hey, since I'm 25, I'm old enough to rent a luxury vehicle. I could get us a Range Rover so we could ride out in style....:toocool: Probably costs too much. |

| In general Miami and especially Conference Week is no time to be short on cash. Theres really no way around spending $$$$$ if you wanna see the best the WMC has to offer.... |

| I booked my hotel through TravelNow ... there doesn't seem to be very much in that area that is cheap :( |

So true. Unfortunate but true. Perhaps a good promotional slogan for Miami tourism can be "Miami: don't forget the vaseline!" Oh well... On the positive side, it will be a kick ass experience :toocool: |
