Hey folks,
I finished this track not too long ago and just decided to post it up to see what you think. Any comments/critisms are welcome!

Blake Sutherland - Another Face

Sorry about the quality - I'm sending it to a couple labels (with my fingers crossed) so I know you all understand ;)
And for anyone interested, this is another one I finished about a month or so ago.

Blake Sutherland - Dark Water

Thanks for taking the time.

Man I really dig your "another face" track. Sounds great! Best of luck.

Listening to Dark Water right now! Love that Ambient Intro! Takes a while to build up to the song, but it's worth it, cuz the effects are beautiful! After that, when the beat comes in with those synths, it just sounds perfect! The FX really help this song out, and save it from becoming Dull, but that's not all. You have a great ear, and talent for synth work! Love that Synth at 2:12, which gives the track that dark feel.

There's definetly maturity in this track too. A nice mature Progressive Trance sorta feel. Those synths at around 3:38 are pretty cool too. I just love the subtleties of this track.

The next track Another Face has more cool SFX in the intro. I'm a fan of your SFX, since they suit your musical style well. The bassline is also a bit dark in this song, and mysterious.

You are like the minority of the artists here, who try to branch out a bit, and touch different styles. Another Face has this 'creepy' feel to it. Perhaps it's your 'Alter Ego' that is hidden within, hehehe.. :stongue: ........ ......:nervous: -Mental

Thanks FuzzyGreen and tranz I appreciated it :)

Tranz, glad you like the SFX cuz it's usually the part of the track I enjoy making the most. And you're right about branching out a bit with different styles, but to be honest, I think I'm only doing it to find my sound - as oppose to exploring different genres. Maybe I should start comin up with some aliases! :)

Thanks for the kind reviews you guys.
