A lot of trance tunes have their melody from non-electronic tunes.
Some classical music. But I guess Jens' original of this isn't either.
Btw, it's labled Loops & Tings isn't it ?
Tings does have logical meaning in this title, without me remembering it atm.
Look it up ;) |

It is a remix from: Jens - Loops & Things (Fruit Loops Remix) on Superstition Records 1993
Some time ago, I heard Marco V in Club Xtra Large (Amsterdam), live recording his Gatecrasher CD. On this venue, he played an even more massive remix from Loops & Tings! Better than his released version imo !!! |

So why would the name change from Things --> Tings ?

A few of them are labled "Things"
But you can see that it's dominated by "Tings" and not "Things"
Ting = sound (ring/clink/tinkle/jingle)
Do you think all of these releases on discogs are named "Tings" for fun ?

Sorry, I checked the record again and also the original version is: Loops & Tings... no 'h'!
No, i dont have a sample of it, cause it wasnt broadcasted. You will have to wait till the release of the Gatecrasher compilation! |

Hmm... must be the more trancy version which is officially aproved by Jens. I heard that one too some months back and it is also on the Government CD. |

| i have one tune from 2000. that has that melody... it's called Lady Tom - Loops & Tings but i don't think it's original source of that melody |
