Obviously it's exclusively Newcastle related but anyone interested in seeing some of Shearer's cracking goals down the years, Tino Asprilla's hat-trick against a Barcelona side in its prime, Liam O'Brien's goal against the Mackem scum or past legends such as 'Wor' Milburn, Keegan, Beardsley, Gascoigne or Malcom Macdonald, should give it a look.

This was posted by someone on a Newcastle forum who made it himself. I think it sums up nicely, without words, why football stirs up so much passion in so many people :)
My favourite on there is David Ginola's goal against Ferencvaros, he tees it up with his knee, knocks it past a defender with the outside of his right boot, turns and volleys it with his left into the top corner from 20 yards. Beautiful :D It also shows the scenes in Newcastle as Shearer came back to his hometown club for a world record fee. |
