Hello everyone!
I bet there are some people here from Melbourne. I am from the Netherlands and next month I will come to Melbourne. I will study at the Melbourne University (Bundoora) for about 5 months. Chisholm college will probably be my accomodation. Maybe there are accidently some people from this University?? I was wondering what are some good places to party. Which clubs/disco's play some good trance and what are some good non-partying to go when I am nog partying :).

There're definitely some good trance nights in Melbourne:
5am, Transcend, UNIFY :)
5am nights are on every 3rd Friday @ Room 680 Glenferrie
Transcend are on every 1st Friday @ Altitude in the Melbourne CBD
UNIFY is held every 2 months (?) .. i've never been to one but
heard nothing but great things :)
in any case, the promoters of the nights in question will be
with you shortly!! :D :D
can't really suggest some non-trance related activities without
first knowing your non-trance related interests. :) |

Which university are you studying at, La trobe or RMIT
Im at neither but just curious because there are 2 universitys in bundoora.
I think everyone has already said where you can find some trance in the clubs.
Im sure you will love melbourne, one of the best cities to live in ;) |

So 5am, Transcend and Unify are special trance nights, sounds promising. I do not know where those clubs are you mentioned, but I will find out :). My hobbies are mainly sports. I would love to see a rugby match once, since this is not a popular sport in the Netherlands and therefore I can not see any great matches. We have American Rugby, but I like the English version more, because protective suits are for pussies :). I also like surfing. is that possible in Melbourne?

I am going to laTrobe university. Melbourne better be a nice city, I am not going to fly 24 hours for seeing a crappy place :).

Don't forget Bubble, Hard Kandy and Salt and then after a night of fun fun fun *cough* go down to galactic circus to hit on 16 year old girls that have just been to heat and barcode. i also hear Club Dakota in ringwood is a great place to go along with Wild Bills.
