| since 2001 when i heard Alice Deejay-better off alone and ATB-9pm on the radio..lol.. sad but true.. then after that my friend was really into George Accosta so he leant me the cd "Awake" and i totally fell in love with the music so then i started downlaoding songs off Kazaa and here i am a total Trance Freak |

That's the start of electronic life :) Started off with cheesier dance treks then as time goes by, the more underground ones im into. |

well i've always liked it when i heard it on tv
ex: daft punk, chemical brothers, prodigy, etc
but i never really got into it until darude
then i knew i needed more
and i went on to some cheese for a while
then i eventually found TA from one of the id tags
after that, i knew this place was right for me
i'm not so much into trance anymore
prog and breaks got the best of me

Awake was the 2nd Trance CD I bought and its still one of my faves. |

Wow, this brings back memories. I think the first song that really struck me was 808 State's Cubik...must have been '89. Before that, I enjoyed some of the remixes of Depeche Mode. After 808 State, I started searching high and low for singles, to no avail. I managed to find some Joey Beltram and The Prodigy (remember Charley?). I think this stuff was more techno than anything else, but that was all there was!
Got deep into trance around 2000 when Oakenfold's music was the easiest to find.

Anyways, guess things kicked off for me in 1997, my mate introduced me to Prodigy and drum 'n bass. Things just escalated from there. |

Into EDM since 1992 (I was twelve back then)..
Have been switching favourite styles every year or so, but it has been techno for quite a while now.. And I think it's going to stay that way :)
Although I can listen to other EDM genres as well (progressive, trance sometimes, chill-out) |
