Like a Preach remix perhaps? mmmm, interesting, exciting times
ZinG

You will see when it's official;)

Yes.. MAURO 3 TIMES in 8 MONTHS is quite enough

écoute JF.. don't get me wrong.. I appreciate the fact that you book so much TECHNO, we all know no other club in Montreal does that... but I think you and I both know, there are so many solid, wicked headliners out there to book (techno specifically, but also in general), that *most* people, would be happy enough to see Mauro twice a YEAR, let alone 3 times in 8-9 months... I know you run a business, and you are going to run it accordingly, but I think the point I made was a valid one.

I am a frequent Aria patron, I like your club, your residents, and I will continue to support it, so take my post as a 'suggestion'.. we are entitled to those aren't we? ;)
ZinG
Kate doesn't like Mauro
Kate Manus
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! hehehee

well.. he ain't my favourite Italian true... he ranks behind Carola, Vigorito and Gaetano on a good night, in my books.

that's not my beef though. 514 Productions used to be instrumental in booking several headliners per event, and often ones that hadn't played at a 514 event before, this exposed a lot of Montrealers to various djs who would then, pack the club when booked at other montreal events, such as sona, aria, stereo. I just don't see that happening anymore (not with 514, we all know they went to ) I just mean, people aren't being exposed to these 'new names' as much, so there is very little demand being created. And in turn we see many of the same names month after month. It's just a vicious cycle.. c'est tout.
I'm not picking on Aria either, it's montreal clubs in general.
ZinG
running an afterhours is not a good business, especially these days
so you cant expect them to experiment too much
yet theres still new Djs coming
you just need to go out more;)
Kate Manus
I already made my point about running a business and taking risks..

Not living in your fine city at the present time, I can really only make it our for headliners I care to see... which still tends to be pretty damn often. So yeah, I understand *why* things are the way they are, but it's still unfortunate, in my opinion.

this wasn't an avenue to bitch either, I'm grateful we have a club like Aria in Montreal.. or else I'd have to probably convert to house.. ;)
ahlamalek
having a big headliner and a smaller name would be cool :) but then it would give less time to Aria residents... there's only 10H or so a party.

Kate Manus
WORD!!

That's definitely a valid point. I'd say the residents outshine the headliners a good half the time at least.. and I have seen a lot of wicked sets.. no doubt. Preach, Marco G & Mateo especially for me, I consider myself lucky to have a club to go to with such dope residents, don't see that everyday.

JF: Wanna please everyone? C.A.R.L.
--------> before his Ibiza season! ;)

he rawked last June.. very memorable night I think for a lot of people.
