| my advice would be to just let the mom do her thing for a while. kittens/cats will go to the bathroom in the litter box by instinct (in most cases), so keep one close by. you can train them to go in the litter box too by wiping their butt with a warm/wet cloth before putting them in it. it stimultes the urethra or something like that and makes them have to go. it takes a little patience though because they won't know what you're doing and will probably try to crawl out of the litter box. good luck:) |

When my cat had babies it was the worts! Don't get me wrong i love cats but for teh mother. I got home from school and i had a big box that she sleeps in and i went to pet her and there was blood n gunk everywhere. I'm like e! she was les than a year old and just a freakin baby her self and she only had three one of them was dead when i got there and 2 were sucking thy tit AND MY CATS UTERUS WAS HANGING OUT SIDE! i took her to the animal hospital and she had to have a full hysterectomy over $500. It was worth it though but one of the cays i named kermit it was great but he was deformed inside. he had a flat cheast and his heart beat 5 times faster than normal. He seemed normal but when we took him to the vet he told us and he thought the cat was like laid back and didnt do much. Well he was wrong that cat was crazy! Running back and fourth but later on he was in too much pain and was going to die soon so we had to put him to sleep:( :( :( :( :( :(  and you know if he was still alive he would be famous. He had the longest tail i had ever seen in my life it almost wrapped around his body twice. the other cat is with my cousin, i still have mommy and have a new cat oreo. He is literaly retarded. No joke i cant explain it but i get good laughs from him. OH and mommy you know i found her on the streets as a baby so she was an outdoor cat and about a year ago when she was out she fractured her elbow DAMNIT. the vet wanted to put a pin in there to keep it functional so it wouldnt get arthritis and stiffen up but they wanted over a grand to do it and we didnt have the money and it wasnt life threatning so we didnt have it done. So she has a perminate little limp so theres my story...
BTW my dad had at one point 16 cats lol. Thats alot of monay! |
