Ok, then. Let's do this. Happy Hardcore is now known as Hooter's Hatcore.. not to be confused with gabber hardcore, a style of electronic music. |

I get this perpetual image of a candy kid gnashing on his/her soother, slouched against the wall, eyes rolled into the back of their head, or bouncing up and down like e-tarded bunnies listening to HHC. I hate whistles, I hate fun fur, I hate that Hullaballoo homo that wrecked the Toronto rave scene by infecting it with Meth and ty E.
I listened to thirty seconds of that Angel track. That is junk. The bass is hollow, too many drum rolls in three phrases, the increased pitch female vocal about how special you are is incredibly over done. No snyth, just some stolen or ripped loop that made me turn off my speakers.
Ok, I'm done hating for now. |

B.S.E., I know you like hardcore, and I really didn't expect this sort of attitude from someone who knows so much about the genre.
The importance of HHC to the history of electronic music can't be ignored: all junglists owe their dirty basslines and amen breaks to happy hardcore. Not to mention that it is one of the best forms of rave music ever: it's made solely for fun, which is what it all should be about. No inflated egos whatsoever, they produce music just to have a good laugh.
Sincerely, I happy hardcore. There's crap, I know, but at least, it's a lot more interesting than many other genres out there (and this is not an opinion, it's a fact). |

Agreed. It's absurdist music, take it as it is. It has no grandiose pretensions like most generic fluff trance. It's silly because it's supposed to be silly, don't you get it? |

That's harsh, I feel like an idiot. ;) Thanks.
I did go overboard, and formally apologize for such an uncalled for assault on HHC. |

HHC was one of the things that got me into EDM.
There are many clasics among this genre. |
