what laws would you make if you ruled the world?

-probably formulate a process to give people expression licenses. yes, unless you were validated as a person who can express themselves correctly and with logical remarks, you would not be allowed to speak. not referring to whether i agree with them or not, just not let anyone without the proper skills be allowed to speak. as with licenses for driving, there would be different levels, determining on what subjects, at what locations and with which frequency you are allowed to speak. the world would be such a better place.
-make it illegal to use the internet without knowing computer basics. back when it was ARPANet, i can imagine it would've been a programmer's wet dream to have what we have today, yet most people only know how to use Kazaa and msn... bleh...
-make the arts courses at school a real subject. music wouldn't only focus on classical (although i think it is very positive that young people learn about the true masters of music) but i'd focus on everything, and maybe more people would be interested.
-make it illegal for "DJ's" to play cheese :toothless
what would YOU do if you dominated the world/a country and were allowed to impose any laws you wanted? |

So who's your grandfather, Trujillo or Balaguer? That's ed up. Something similar to what you're proposing was used in the South of the US and in apartheid South Africa to disenfranchise black voters. Rich Third World elitists like yourself make me sick. What is needed in a country like DR is a fair distribution of social goods such as education and health care, not restrictions on free speech. :rolleyes: |

Authoritarianism sickens me.
I wouldn't want to rule "the world," but if I had a position in power, I would fight to strengthen human rights and environmental protections for our air, water, land, and public health. |

I woudl put birth control in the water supply everywhere and if a couple wants to have a kid, they have to pass a certain test and meet requirements. when they do, they are given a temp antidote.

without drugs, there wouldn't be as much good music...they do have their benefits even if there aren't many
As for my rules:
-I would get rid of all weapons (no need for them really)
-make pot legal
-make sure everyone got along for once (by this I mean nations)<--dunno how i would do this one, but it would be nice |
