TwoPlow
I love all the ways people come up with to ask what the classics are. Getting rather creative, in a lame retarded sort of way.
hadi burpee
momu - the dive
DJ_Elyot
Lost Tribe - Gamemaster
Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel
Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine
Solar Stone - Seven Cities
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar
Binary Finary - 1998
Tiesto - Suburban Train

If you don't know at least 5 of these tracks, you don't know trance.

I would only agree with Gamemaster on your list, the rest aren't detailed enough.

Well sorry... didn't know I had to write an essay on each one...

Lost Tribe - Gamemaster (HUGE track, in 28917391872 sets and on 27346876 CDs... gotta be one of the biggest tracks of all time)
Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel (E-Werk Club Mix) (Very popular old PvD tune... favourite song of a lotta people and made PvD hugely popular)
Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine (arguably one of the best melodic trance songs ever... great melody and played by many DJs... I think like 1999 or 2000 ish?)
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Atlantis Mix and some other mixes)... (Thrown in like 62354672534 sets by countless DJs... HUGE TUNE)
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (3 n one mix, other mixes too, another very popular older track but definitely a classic.)
Binary Finary - 1998 (also 1999, 2000, and the countless remixes... EVERYONE used to play this... tiesto, armin, pvd, oakenfold, etc)
Tiesto - Suburban Train (also urban train)... Tiesto's best and most famous original production by far... gained him a lotta populatity along with his remix of Delerium's "silence".

There are a lotta other tracks that belong here... a few I can think of are:

Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiesto Remix)
Aria - Dido (Armin Van Buuren's Universal Religion Remix)

also for prog, mostly tracks mentioned by SMC... Airwave - Innerspace is a KILLER TRACK!
