I definitely agree with DJ Kim - Jetlag (Alpha Zone Remix), also a lotta that cosmic gate stuff.

also, what defines "HARD" trance? I know most hard trance songs have those really pounding reverbing bass drums and deep basslines and are really heavy on the synth but a lotta other trance songs have similar characteristics that aren't really hard trance. Like Signum and Flutlicht kinda border on hard trance but are definitely not as hard as Dumonde or Cosmic Gate (a lot of the above are like that because I really don't like hard trance that is TOO HARD). A lot of melodic goa also borders on the same characteristics. |

| No, you're making the same mistake I did when I started listening to hard trance. A lot of the media throw around the term "hard trance" at random, but proper hard trance is contained purely on the hard dance scene. DuMonde and Cosmic Gate are hardly the hardest trance ever, you are better looking at Phil Reynolds, Lee Haslam etc. for the harder end of the spectrum. |

so dumonde and cosmic dont make hard trance... yet hard house artists like lee haslam and phil reynolds do? i think you have got your wires crossed mate :) hard trance is trance that is hard, and thats the be all and end all of it.
