here's my problem: I started to work in 134bpm. imported all the audio segments, built rhythm to match it etc. Now when I imported melody from another midi file the melody plays 2 times as fast as the rest of the tune. Melody in the midi was 67bpm.. Is there a way for me to make the melody run with the track (can I make the 67bpm midi into a 134bpm midi without changes in the melody & harmony.)

I hope you understand what I mean and can help me :)

Midi files are not tempo specific, but if you are having problems with it, just make another midi file with the same notes. Create an empty midi track, draw in an empty file and draw in the notes, but at 134 BPM.

well that kinda defeats the whole purpose of importing a complex melody from another midi..

There must be a program that would change all the note lenghts to a double value..
