hmm the article was in this mornings papers...interesting read!!!

but yeah they also said it's probable the stuff was blown up there from volcanoes and the like...it's gonna be quite difficult to prove either way :p:p:p

I read somewhere don't remember where, that the NASA was planning to study the Haley comet by sending something like a robot to the top of the comet next time it came near (yeah I know it's gonna be lotsa years but I think that most of us will still be alive right?) maybe these comets have somehow the answer to these mysteries.

There is no doubt in my mind that there is other life out there someone. The only problem is....being able to get to them. I hope that sometime in my day we'll be able to communicate with them.

i believe that there probably is other life out there

the universe is a vast place... and when i say vast i dont mean big... i mean a ING HUGE place...

however, i dont think that we will be meeting up with them... as we are just one planet in the universe... how many other trillions of planets are there? whats the odds of them even finding our solar system?

plus who knows how advanced they would be anyways? they could either be tiny bacteria or they could be some superrace... thats of years superior to us

it makes me think deeply... lol especially when im listening to accadia-into the dawn (james holden remix)

at any rate... i hope that some day we do meet up with some other race from another section of the universe... its just an awesome thought

Think about this. Our closest star is the sun (by no means the largest star). All other stars are insanely far away. So far that we cants actually study them. What are the chances that of the billions of stars in the milky way alone that the sun is the only one to have planets revolving around it? I think that there are planets around every star out there. We just cant see them. Now say each star has 1 planet. That means in our galaxy alone there are billions and billions of planets. Have can anyone think that we are the only planet out of the billions that there are that has life on it?

Just just food for thought.

just the mere idea that some humans think we are the only intelligent life in the universe shows how self centered out race is...have any of u just taken a look at the night sky.....most of those little pricks of light are other suns...most of which will have planets orbiting them, which will in turn likely have a a moon or 5 orbiting them....and u morons think that of all those billions of planets and moons, ours just happens to be the only one supporting intelligent life??
thats pathetic

thats not meaning i think they look like little green men...we, might not be able to see them...they might not have bodies...there might little worlds of them in atoms....who ing knows....but i beleive without a doubt that there is intelligent life out there.....

there sure doenst seem to be much down here on earth:D:D

hope i didnt pisss to many of u off

plus you gotta realize that we can never go as fast as the speed of light... because at that point you would become 100% energy... and the closest star to us (besides the sun) is like an entire light year away... so... not very feasible

MAN! Between this thread and the "Are we real" thread, TAs are for the most part brilliant...screw college Im gonna spend the next 7 years of my life on this board.

The bacteria could have created itself too. the theory of spontaneous creation does exist. actually a guy in the early century reproduced an experiment where he put all the ingredients of a cell into a fancy tube and he put electricity through it and the particles formed into groups that resembled cells. that is the theory that scientist believe now about how evolution began. single atoms forming into molecules and so on. there is a lot of electricity in our atmosphere, maybe that bacteria is our predecessor.

...if yeah, i'm in!!! :D:D:D

It depends If u got a fridge or not.... I have a small chain of Mobile fridges where i sell my home made Ice Cream..but since the population is just me cause the rest have moved to other planet or galaxies where it is warmer..My business had gone bust.
I just feed my excess food that has gone past the date to the large worms livin deep in the ground....They come closer to surface if I go to the foot of my mountain cause they think they r way down but theyre actually close to the surface but because my mountain is 24 km high they get confused..they are simply simple creatures....

Well...I think Ive told u too much
