Hi, I am new at the forum. That might have been discussed but please help me one more time. I am gonna change my stuff and I have to choose from 3 mixer.
1- Numark PPD01 ( yes might be best but some says only 2 different effect from DXM06 but 100$ more )
2- Numark DXM06 a lot users advice that. Is it really good enough?
3- Gemini FX7000X , not have laser faders
As I said I am new to dj thing and I want to play with effects which I like. So which do you prefer and why? Thanks for everone who replies. |

hey... i have the numark dxm-06 mixer. and it is very solid. the sound is good, and the kill switches w/ eq's help alot. but honestly, if u want a mixer w/ effects its kind of pointless to get this. i mean, there is the flange and phaser which u can always use, but that gets old. half of the other effects are for microphone too. if u want something with more effects for the same price, u can get a numark em-260 for 199.99 or a korg kaoss mixer somewhere. also i heard that the behringer djx700 has many many effects and can be bought for $200. however one bad thing about the djx700 is that the quality of the effects are bad and they begin to fade rapidly. personally, i'm just gonna keep the dxm-06 cuz its good enough for now (i'm still a beginner), and i'm gonna wait for the new numark 5000fx(releasing sometime later this year) or just buy a quality mixer w/ a separate effects board.
p.s. out of those 3 mixers u listed, get the numark. but otherwise just get a good mixer w/o effects and buy an effects pad later |
