Hey-
Gotta pertty hot new track up- It's called moonscape (midnight club mix) --- i think you'll like if you enjoy svenson and gielen/rank 1 style productions.
I really want some feedback on it- mixwise, content, sound layering etc

Nice and banging right from the start with some pretty cool effects. The bass is good but it sounds really muddy; try EQ'ing it some more to give it more of a crisp presense. The pad you use has an okay sound to it but it has a sharp quick attack that seems to kick in later than you'd want it to normally. Try making the attack a little more drawn out and gradual on it. The melodies are quite cool, not sure if I like that one sort of melodic stab used in the breakdown though (sounds sorta like a muffled voice or something, hard to describe). The piano in the breakdown sounds a little fake too, what did you use for it?
Aside from a few little details this is really well produced. The style isn't really my cup of tea, but I can still appreciate the quality of this tune. |
