I opened a similar thread about this not too long ago, because I too was just discovering the effects of progressive trance and it is seriously kicking my ass. I mean I used to down progressive a lot but I mean now I understand where the beauty lies, but anyways those are my fav producers/djs ATM.

Im not for prog house/trance. But I do enjoy some of the markus schulz remix's and the darker side of prog trance.

Markus Schulz is very unique.
He kinda introduces alot of tranceheads to the darker trance/ progressive side, and at the same time he reminds the prog heads why they used to love trance.

James Holden ... The guy is a genius. "I'll just take this loop and throw it in your face 300 times in a row ... feel free to go wild at any time." - I can't think of any other producer that manages to do that time and time again without boring me. The guy makes me explode (with musical pleasure ... you perv)!

Oh and G&D... Although I think their sound is becoming a bit too much G&D - you can tell it's a G&D tune from the first 5 seconds of the bassline which can't be a good thing in the long run.

Haven't seen Deep Dish yet!!:conf:

sometimes when i listen to a progressive trance track i feel that progressive is real trance instead of the normal trance you here from guys like mike, armin etc.
