good stuff, lovely groove.. wicked percussion!
i like the vocals as well.
i'm missing a good bassline, though..
the track lacks a bit of depth, if you know what i mean.. it's a bit too "light". |

there's a bassline (from carlos santana - black magic woman), but overall the mix maybe could've used more bass...bit more mid, bit less high. Also I've heard that a "hook" is missing, so may look into all that some time.

Totally agree with what's been said here. You just need a massive groovy bassline too finish it off nicely. :D |

| Really nice intro, great effects and percussions. The kick sounds as though it's a little messed though, as though there's some kind of artifact on the tail end of it. Vocal is dope as hell, but as others have mentioned the bassline needs WAY more presense. I like the groove of it myself, just needs to fit in the mix properly. |

Yeah, Sean, drive me mad whith the "artifacts"! :p I'm sorry, couldn't find it once more... For the rest of it, I totally agree!!
About the vocal:
Wie is die meid die voor je zingt?! Ik kan ook wel zo'n lekkere stem gebruiken, klasse!
Though the bass should be some louder, I love these groovy sounds. This should be the dubby version, add some more grooves and club you go! :D |
