Woohoo!!! i just got my Asus A7v133 and Thunderbird 1.1b and it's sitting happily at 1.2 266fsb at 45 celsius. And it's only sprinting. Oooh and ya should see PS6 go ;)
I've already had it runnin at 280mhz fsb but i wanna wear it in properly first. Get better acqainted with it before I let it loose lol:whip:
ima have some fun with this thing that's for sure :D

Er...i only had to buy the mainboard. The processor was a trade in from one of our clients who bought a P4 1.4 with 512 mb RDRAM from us instead for his video editing system (ha ha ha), well i wasn't gonna argue with him. So he's now got a REALLY expensive paper-weight in his system and i get a nice OC'able beast. I had to sell my old components (Athlon 500 classic and AMD750 chipset MB) off to someone for a second hand system heh heh heh.
I should be ashamed of myself, but i ain't....tee hee hee :o:rolleyes::D |

| Nah i can't be bothered seriously overclocking this thing yet. I had it running at 1.3 without even upping the voltage last night. I checked it's stepping codes at athlonoc.com and it should go up to 1.4 so I'll get it there. My main prob is that i'm using off the shelf pc133 so i may have to replace it with micron or corsair or somfin. As for the HDD the one i have is 7200rpm and right now it's enough. Anyways i got it for nix so i'm not complaining, if/when i need more i'll get more. |
