i recently just moved out to the west end of Sauga on winston churchill. well you know its not that bad with the buses here, all you have to do is motivate yourself :) where i live the buses run every 20 mins but on saturdays/sundays its a real bitch. one thing that i hate is that none of the bus stops have any schedules expect terminals  you have to call them to find out. the service is from monday-friday 6am-9pm, so on saturday-sunday there is no way to find either. the website is pretty much lame with no schedules either  im kinda getting used to this but sooner or later im gonna get a ride. you wanna party, go with some TA from sauga or just take a cab (60 bux??)or RIDE THE ROCKET...not many options!

been busing around sauga for years now, i am 20(21 this year) and still no ride.

I work downtown(TO) 3 days a week, and travel to YorkU the other two week days. I have got used to it. The main thing, is that i have set my schedual up so that i take the most frequent buses durind the days. Like i travel to york and TO during rush hour every morning.

In the summer i find the best way to get around is bike. The bus is just tooo slow for me, and i can get pretty much anywhere as fast, or faster than the bus, but this does accumulate to about 20km a day of biking in the summer(i have a trip counter:D)

and as for traveling to cities around, i go everywhere. Hamilton, oakville, waterloo, guelph, even kingston on a regular baisis, like one of these cities every other weekend. It can be a bitch to get around, but the GO system, gets you to guelph, hamitown and oakville, but for kingston, i have to travel to the TO bus terminal and grab a bus from there.

the hope is a car by this summer! i hope!

hey buddy i used to do that, not anymore since i stay in toronto itself, so i dont have to travel far off and i still do it till this day or travelling using bus and sub, its the fastest and easiet way to get downtown.

best bet is to move downtown itself. or reduce partying if in sauga.:D

where about in sauga u at??
Skipper
If you are going from driving to transit (and transit in Sauga) it will be rough at first.
As for getting to Toronto, if you can't get a ride, perhaps cab it to the Lakeshore GO line and take the train from there.

actually its not that bad to get to toronto... the go train is like a 20 min walk from my house.. i can get someone to drop me off and it stops by the union station :)

but ya... geting around sauga, changing buses.. that will be hard at first.. ive taken the bus maybe like 10 times lol, ive always had the luxury of a car or a ride.

Haha, you think 'Sauga's bad? :p

Jokeville here doesn't even run buses on Sundays. As for getting to T.O. parties... It's really not all that hard. I've done it umpteen times. City bus, GO Train, GO Coach Bus, Subway, Streetcar - They all get you where you need to be. Fret not, man. ;)
