Hmm, very nice remix even if it's close to the original you do get quite a few remixes that are so I wouldn't be too worried about it.

The only thing that I notice as that the vocal sounds as if it's been plonked on top of the track (very dry sounding). I actually think it needs some more work on it and possibly a few effects just to give it a bit more depth.

I'm not sure about the kick sound with this track either but that's just personal taste. :) Possibly a touch too harsh for the type of track.

Good job though. I would be happy if I could make stuff like this. :)

sounds nice man... vocals could have been a bit stronger thou.. maybe.. hehe :)

kick and bassline are fantastic!

lead is also nice, though it seems to be a bit on the background, i think you used too much reverb or delay for it..

good stuff nonetheless!

Sounds good as always Bren, really like that harder kick and bassline. The lead is one of your best I think, maybe not the best, but sounds good.

Gotta agree with posted above that it might sound a bit empty in places, but since you're still workin on it :)

Cheers,

Beautiful man, really. If this is you on a bad day then, well, I'd love to see your best ever day!

That kick is awesome man. I love it.

By the way, what on earth is she singing about? It just makes no sense IMO.....

Thanks for all the comments :)

It's funny, I spent hardly any time on this at all compared to the hours spent on the Nothing to live for Remix, yet this has a better response so far :p

Just another pointless lovesong I'm afraid.
the Lyrics are:

My love is like footsteps in the snow,
baby
I follow you everywhere you go,
baby
The palest light has come to wake you, (not sure on that line)
but you will never realise,
That I inspire the dreams that guide you
baby

I follow the winds that bring the cold
baby
I light a fire in your soul
baby
The lightest touch of feathers falling
My love may be invisible
But I inspire the dreams that guide you
Baby

You're Half the world away
But in my mind i whisper
every single word you say
and before you sleep at night
You pray to me
your lucky star
your singing satellite

your satellite

You're Half the world away
But in my mind
i whisper every single word you say
and before you sleep at night
You pray to me
your lucky star
Your singing satellite

You're Half the world away
But in my mind
i whisper every single word you say
and before you sleep at night
You pray to me
your lucky star
Your singing satellite

:D ;)

something about this really gets me going

which is weird coz I hate the original, and this isn't much different...

but it excites me :stongue:

Justine Suissa needs to be shot though :toothless

deep kick, great bassline; i like it more than the original i think, though they're not very different; maybe thanks to the powerful lead, and that bassline.
Great job; maybe adding some elements would make it sound more unique.

Great kick and lead doesn't sound empty in fact is pretty clean. Good work;).
