"Wow, this is amazing. My site this morning went down because of the massive amounts of visitors coming to my site. 250000 to be exact. damn ms is stupid, just give the kid that 10k and trow in a winxp license and be done with it if its really that important to them.
or do it right from the start on, pay the kind 2k (he prolly whould have taken that, i would) and save your lawyers a load of paper work (like a 25 page letter) they cost way more a day then 2k anyway

Yeah, but they are a gigantic company and I'm sure the legal guys like to push their weight around. If I was the main man Gill Bates, I'd just takes it into the open and offer the kid 20k for his troubles, and take the site off him. I mean, that's not even pocket money for a billionaire, and I'm sure it's not doing Microsoft any favours by having it dragged over the media. |
