call me wuss all you want to but i just finished watching the full trailer for this movie and i nearly went depressed from it. it's realistic and looks creepy to me. very well done. i'm sure i'm gonna watch it eventually but not in the movie theatres. i'm most like going to get a panic attack while watching it.
i know it is god but some scenes nearly scared the out of me and my palms were actually sweating just watching it. powerful stuff. never has a mere trailer messed me up like that. |

Until a Jew arrives, you'll get athiest flaming instead. :p
Prove to me that Jesus even existed. ;) If you manage to do that, prove that he was the 'son of god', and that he was ressurected. |

Jesus existed, there's no doubt about it.

1)Jesus was a Jew and so were his disciples. They were an offshoot or sect of Judaeism. Christianity as we know it today did not arise until some time after Christ's death and resurrection.
2)Historians have raised doubts as to the existance of Christ. No such theories ever received serious attention in the past because Christianity has been extremely powerful since it became the official religion of the Roman empire. Its political power has only waned relatively recently.
3)Only the Roman Empire (of which Judea was a part at the time) had the right to kill people legally... The Romans killed Jesus. If one was to assume that biblical accounts are accurate, he was executed at the urging of the Jewish beaurocracy and with the support of the Jewish people. However given the amount of times the text has been transcribed and translated, and the uncertainty of its origins in the first place, it is probably not sound to do so. But even then, it is unlikely that the whole of Jerusalem, let alone Judea supported the execution.
4)Many of the first Christians, many of whom were martyrs and saints, were Jews by birth, and of the very population that you say was responsible for the death of Christ.
5)Christians have killed and tortured more people in the name of their faith than the Jews could ever hope to.
PS - I don't follow any religion. But I was baptised in the Russian Orthodox Church, went to an Anglican school, and for most of my school life attended church at least two times a week (admittedly not by choice). Although I also have Jewish blood on my mother's side, making me a "chalachic" Jew. |

Actually, from what I understand there is a fair bit of doubt, there are numerous books arguing both sides of the coin. |
